Fixed-panel shops sell 24-inch panels in 4, 8 and 12 foot lengths at $5.21 per square foot. We print your wall plus two inches of bleed at $6.50 on non-woven paste-the-wall. Which bill is lower depends on the wall, so here are ten of them, every number from the same calculator that prices your order.
On these ten, Inchwall costs less on 4 and fixed panels cost less on 6. The pattern: an exactly 8-foot ceiling suits an 8-foot panel; anything taller pays for a 12-foot panel and throws a third of it away.

An exactly 8-foot ceiling, a width that is a whole number of two-foot panels, a smooth wall you are happy to trim on: fixed 8-foot panels cost less, and the $5.21 rate is real. We would rather say that here than have you find it after ordering.

- Why do fixed panels win on 8-foot ceilings?
- An 8-foot panel fits an 8-foot wall with no height to throw away, and its sticker rate per square foot is lower than ours. On that wall the only thing you pay us extra for is the check, the bleed and the guarantee. If those are not worth the difference to you, the fixed panels are the better buy and we say so.
- Why does Inchwall win on 9-foot ceilings?
- Fixed panels come in 4, 8 and 12 feet. A 9-foot wall needs the 12-foot size, and the three feet you cut off are paid for. We print 9 feet 4 inches: your wall plus two inches of bleed top and bottom.
