What happens if I measured my wall wrong?
If you sent the two tape photos, not much: we compare them with your numbers before anything prints. Up to 3 inches off on either side, we print the correct size and the price does not change. Clearly bigger, we send the corrected layout and price first; you approve the difference or cancel for a full refund. Nothing prints until you say yes.
What the photo shows, what we do
| What the tape photo shows | What happens |
|---|---|
| A little bigger or smaller, up to 3 inches | We print the correct size; same price |
| Clearly bigger | Corrected layout and price before printing; approve the difference or cancel for a full refund |
| Clearly smaller | We print the correct size and refund the difference |
| No photos sent | We print what you ordered; the size guarantee then covers our layout errors only |
Why we can afford that
Every panel already prints 2 inches taller top and bottom than your number, and the last panel is trimmed to your width, so small errors are absorbed by the order itself. The photo check exists because the one thing that ruins a custom wallpaper order is finding out on the wall, and we would rather find out on the screen.
If you would rather not measure at all
Send a photo of the wall with a tape on it, or just the wall with a door in frame, and we do the numbers and email the exact price. No card, nothing ordered.
Questions people ask
- Do you raise the price if the wall turns out bigger?
- Only when it is clearly bigger, and then it is the same rate per square foot for the wall you actually have, sent to you before printing. It is a correction, not a penalty.
- What if it was already printed and does not fit?
- If our layout was wrong, the reprint is free. If the numbers you gave were wrong and there were no photos to check, the reprint is at cost.
- Do I need to know how to measure?
- No. Send a photo of the wall and we measure from it, then confirm the numbers with you.
