What happens if my custom wallpaper does not fit the wall?
If the panels we printed do not match the width and height you entered, we reprint the wall free and pay the shipping. If the numbers you entered were wrong, we reprint at our production cost and tell you that cost first. Most mistakes never get that far: you upload a photo of the tape measure and we check it before printing.
The three cases
| What went wrong | Who pays | How we know |
|---|---|---|
| Our layout or print did not match your numbers | Inchwall, including shipping | Compare panels to the order |
| Your numbers were wrong | You, at our production cost, not retail | Your tape photo and a new measurement |
| Damaged in transit | Inchwall | Photo of tube and damage within 5 days |
Why the photo matters
A photo of the tape extended across the wall, with the number legible, lets a person compare your entry with reality before anything prints. When they disagree, we email you. This is the step most online wallpaper sellers push onto the customer or sell as a paid add-on.
Questions people ask
- How long do I have to change the size after ordering?
- Six hours. Reply to the confirmation email; nothing prints before the file check.
- Is the reprint at cost expensive?
- It is the material and print cost per square foot plus shipping, quoted before you decide. It is well under the retail price.
- Do I need the tape photo?
- It is optional but it is what makes the free reprint possible when the error is ours, and it catches most customer measuring errors for free.
